This year we celebrated our 10th anniversary a little bit different. We renewed our wedding vows in Paris.
Our initial plan was to book a Villa in Italy and invite our family and friends, a small group of 30. Unfortunately, when we sent out the “Save the Date” most people RSVP’d No because they already had other plans. We changed the date to 2023 and the decline response was even greater. Trying to find a date that fit everyone’s schedule seemed nearly impossible so we changed our plans. Why not fly out to Paris and renew our vows with just the 4 of us? Brendan couldn’t go since he’s already taking time off in December to go away with us, so it was just us and the kids. A small, intimate ceremony that meant a lot to Reagan.
Since watching the movie “Something’s Gotta Give” we adopted the line “we’ll always have Paris” since we love the city so much and when we run out of ideas of where to go, we immediately think of Paris, so that’s exactly what we did. We ran off to Paris for 4 days, got re-married and came back.
I hired the most unbelievable crew to help us with the event. Photography by Pam from The Parisian Photographers, MUAH by Adèle from Onorina Jomir, and the ceremony was officiated by Silvana from The Parisian Celebrant. I highly recommend all of the above if you are ever in Paris and need professional pictures and/or make-up and hair.
Today we received the pictures and I am absolutely in love with how they came out. I hope we get to do this again in 10 years and 10 years after that. Although we met later in life, I hope we get to enjoy our love life for many years to come…

Au revoir Paris! Until next time…
