This year we were beyond busy with our flip so the initial plan was to head down to the Keys for the weekend and celebrate Easter at Baker’s Cay, but those plans changed at the very last second.
I was working on a work project when I received a last minute deal to Europe and immediately jumped on it. We flew on Swiss Air from Miami to Zurich and then Zurich to Nice. We only went for 4.5 days but it was enough to show the kids the French and Italian Rivieras, Monte Carlo and have fondue in Zurich.
They hadn’t seen my mom almost in a year, so we invited her to join us and they were thrilled to see her.
The kids’ highlight of the trip was running around Menton and eating fondue in Switzerland. Ours was to relax and not worry about construction or permits for a few days.
It might have been a short trip, but it was definitely a memorable one.

First stop? Lunch at the Cafe de Paris in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Until next time, Côte d’Azur!
