UPDATE: We accepted one of the offers on 06/27. On the 29th listing day (we wanted to list for 30 days) we had 7 offers and 3 of them were fairly competitive, so we signed a contract,
This week we passed Inspection and Appraisal.
We are selling our home!!
Here’s what happened: just when we finished our complete remodel, inside and out, we decided to list our home. We are crazy by nature, what can I say? 😉
Our goal is to list for 30 days and see what happens. If we sell, it was meant to be and we will figure out what the next steps are, if we don’t, we will stay for another year or so and be happy regardless.
The house is finally ready and PERFECT! We didn’t remodel the house to sell it, so it’s a very custom looking home. Everything is modern, minimalist with clean lines. We understand that’s not everyone’s taste, so we are ok if we don’t sell it in 30 days.
Our pool was just built, our cocktail station had just arrived and we were looking forward to host Summer Parties. Instead, we are taking extra long walks with the dog during showings, and stress at sea while they host Open House events. God help us, as we just listed the house and are already losing our sanity. This is harder than I remember. Just when you get comfortable, prepare a cup of coffee and sit down, your phone pings: “Can we have a showing in an hour?” to which I always reply “Of course!”. Now, dump the coffee, straighten the couch, grab the kids and dog and off we go to drive in circles. Please send wine as we are losing our minds over here.
I will be sure to announce when we sell it, or don’t. We had a fun party planned for my birthday in August, so we will see if that’s happening in this house or somewhere under a bridge, when we are homeless with no place to go! Ha.
Should you be interested in this listing, please feel free to send me an email or DM via social media so I can put you in touch with the right people.
Welcome to our home. Here’s a virtual tour of mi casa:
