Updated: December 2019. Little did we know this was going to be our last travel for a long, long time.
We left to Paris on Christmas Eve and it was absolutely magical. Our new Christmas tradition involves an envelop gift that reveals our destination to the kids. They get to play with their toys but by 6pm we all leave the country and depart to our Winter Vacation.
This year we decided to take them to Paris, Versailles and Munich. According to my husband and kids, my French was improved throughout the years and I am nearly fluent. Between you and I, that is not accurate. It may sound to them I am nearly fluent, but I am far from it. I was fluent in French, Spanish and Italian in my 20s, but now that I haven’t practiced with anyone, I am slowly starting to lose my polyglot skills. I guess we need to travel more often to get that fixed 😉
First stop: Paris

The first time they saw the Eiffel Tower it was priceless! Jude had been there when he was 3 months old, but for some reason he couldn’t remember it 😉

Second stop: Versailles
Last stop: Munich
Munich is where we celebrated New Year’s Eve and got to drink a lot of beer, because that’s what you do in Germany 😉
