This weekend our local yacht club held their 2nd Annual Dock Hop/Mixology Competition.
Members sign-up to showcase their signature drink on the docks and guests walk around and try a sample from each table and pick a favorite. When they decided which one they like best, they hand you over their lei. This was my first year participating and won 3rd place, so I can’t complaint 😉
Next year I will prepare something a bit more exotic and aim for second place 😂👍
Although I didn’t win first place, everyone commented on how much they loved my grapefruit basil martini and came back for seconds and thirds. The recipe is very similar to my grapefruit martini. Just add basil to the juice and let it infuse overnight or shake it with ice if you want to enjoy it right away. Enjoy 🍸
