This morning we went to Lucky Fish for breakfast. Although this restaurant is better suited for lunch, happy hour and tapas style afternoons, the kids wanted to catch seashells to bring them home and make necklaces out of it, so this was a good location to start. To think this is where we live and how we live, makes me appreciate life even more and be thankful to live in Florida. Everything is open, our lives are back to normal and vaccines are rolling out like hot cakes. David had his first Pfizer short yesterday, so if he loses a limb next year, we know why! HA.
All kidding aside, the fact we are enjoying pure American freedom, open restaurants, beautiful weather and the opportunity to get a vaccine if we want to, is absolute bliss. Many people, like my parents, are still on lockdown in Europe and living in fear without a vaccine schedule in sight. I can’t even imagine. We were going nuts after 30 days of lockdown, I can’t imagine being on lockdown for 54 weeks!
Anyway, my point was, “Have I told you lately, that I love Florida”? 😉
