Before
We did the entire bathroom ourselves! Because we never got rid of the shower and simply had a tub on top of it, we were able to fully recover the shower, shower pan, tile, etc. This used to be a shower but we installed a tub when I moved in to be able to bathe the babies 🙂
We ripped all drywall, tile and installed new ones.
We had to install cement board where the shower is going and regular drywall around the rest of the walls:
