Entryway Updates

If you know me well, you know I like updating the house as time goes by. This specific area has changed quite a few times since I moved in, in 2012.

2013

Although this is a picture from my Christmas Blog Post, you can see how it all started.

2016

By 2016 we were tired of our travertine floors and trying to dress them up a bit with custom wainscoting.

My FAVORITE one yet!! Even though we had not painted the baseboards when this picture was taken…
I’ve always been a minimalist but allowed trends and Instagram influencers get to my head and style. In 2018 I decided to fully remodel the house the way I wanted and not the way the social media depicted as the “perfect home”. To me, there’s nothing like a white, minimalist modern home.

I may eventually replace these plants with snake plants, but I haven’t pulled the plug yet.

Stay tuned and maybe by 2022 we will have a different look. Or maybe even a different house 😉
